Simple Luxury Retreats Inc. ("Simple Luxury Retreats," "we," "us") runs simpleluxuryretreats.com and manages vacation rentals in Florida and Texas. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our site, book a stay, or talk with us about managing your home, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Booking details. When you book or request a quote, we collect your name, email, phone, travel dates, number of guests, and anything you tell us about your trip. Payments are processed by our booking platform, Hospitable, and its payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages. Anything you send us by email, text, phone, or through Airbnb, Vrbo, or another booking site.
- Owner inquiries. If you schedule a call, use our revenue estimator, or ask about management, we collect your name, contact details, and property information.
- Notify-me signups. If you ask to hear when we open in a new market, we collect your email and which market you asked about.
- Guidebook access. To open a property guidebook, you enter your reservation details so we can confirm you have a booking. We use this only to check the reservation.
- Site usage. Like most sites, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads to see which pages are visited and which ads bring people to us. These tools use cookies and collect things like your browser, device, general location, and the pages you view.
- Wi-Fi at our homes. Some of our homes ask for an email address to connect to guest Wi-Fi. If you provide it, we may send you occasional offers. You can unsubscribe anytime.
How we use it
- To confirm and manage your booking, send check-in details, and help during your stay
- To answer questions and follow up on owner inquiries
- To send occasional offers and updates, if you've opted in or booked with us before (every email has an unsubscribe link)
- To understand how people use our site and improve it
- To protect our guests, owners, and homes, including screening reservations and handling damage claims
- To meet legal and tax obligations, such as collecting and paying lodging taxes
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run our business, and only what they need:
- Hospitable, our booking and guest messaging platform
- Payment processors that handle your payment
- HubSpot, our contact and email system
- Google, for site analytics and advertising
- Cleaners, maintenance providers, and other contractors who need your name or arrival details to prepare the home
- Guest damage protection and insurance providers, if a claim is made
- Government agencies, when the law requires it (for example, tax authorities)
If you book through Airbnb, Vrbo, or another booking site, that site's own privacy policy also applies.
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though we won't be able to measure visits as well.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and tax records as long as the law requires, usually up to seven years. We keep marketing contacts until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email
- Ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing adam@simpleluxuryretreats.com
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. We'll honor those requests too.
Children
Our site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Bookings must be made by an adult 25 or older.
Security
We use reputable platforms with standard security protections. No system is perfect, so please don't send card numbers or passwords by email or text.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
